Three steps. She stays in control throughout.
A walkthrough of what the employee sees, what HR receives, and where the line between clinical and employer data is drawn.
She builds her health passport
From the first sign-in, she starts an encrypted health passport. Scan reports, midwife notes, MAT B1 forms, fertility treatment records, and workplace concerns all live in one place. Everything is stored client-side encrypted — only she holds the key.
The passport travels with her across employers, across NHS trusts, and across life stages. If she changes jobs mid-pregnancy, nothing is lost.

She configures her workplace adaptations
She opens the Accommodation Workbench and toggles on what she needs — camera-off flexibility, AM travel only, lactation calendar blocks. Each toggle generates formally-worded language written by employment lawyers.
She reviews exactly what HR will see. She can save drafts, edit language, and preview the final pass. Nothing sends until she taps send.

She shares only what she chooses
She generates a Workplace Compliance Pass and shares it — via QR code, email, or direct HR portal push. HR receives a structured, legally-framed document. They never see her clinical records, her journal, or her fertility treatment.
Every disclosure is timestamped in her personal audit trail. If a decision is ever questioned, the evidence is on record.

The line between clinical and employer data.
HR only ever receives structured, purpose-limited outputs. The compliance pass is the contract between what she needs and what her employer must action.
- Formally-worded accommodation requests
- Verified MAT B1 status and maternity dates
- Structured return-to-work proposal
- Timestamped audit trail of decisions
- Zero clinical data. Zero diagnosis. Zero fertility records.

One workspace. Every active journey. Every pending decision.
A unified view of accommodation requests, MAT B1 verifications, and return-to-work milestones. Managers see only their reports. Board reporting is one export away.
Common questions.
Does MaternityLink store clinical data on employer servers?
No. Clinical data is stored encrypted on the employee's device. Employers only ever see the outputs the employee chooses to share.
Is this GDPR compliant?
Yes. MaternityLink is GDPR compliant by design. The employee is the data controller of her own passport. The employer only receives structured, purpose-limited disclosures.
What happens if an employee leaves the company?
Her passport goes with her. It is her data, not the employer's. Any prior disclosures remain in the employer's compliance record as timestamped, historical decisions.
How long does it take to roll out?
Employees self-onboard. There is no complex integration. HR receives a dashboard invitation. Most organisations are live within two weeks.
